also got a kick out of your version of the don't buy gas mass e-mail - it wasn't as stupid as the one before, which called on not buying from ExxonMobil.  I live in a part of the country (Midwest) where there is no choice to use public transport (which I used for 26 years happily on coasts - I HATE car commuting even though I only go 34 mi R/T daily), and NO ONE does ride share, even the quasi-environmental-ists, and there are no living wage jobs in my small village, just a lot of rich ex-protestors who pay for catering and housecleaning, but don't hire real employees, so not much choice.

only when the oil runs out will they wake up, I guess ... and have to share - oh no!  how disgusting ...</description>
