Deep renewal

Deep Blade is in a semi-break from blogging. Lately I’ve been taking some short trips to really try to renew my tired mind. I’ve been less than effective in my teaching and writing projects, and this does not bode well for income up the road. Fortunately Maine is a surperb place for renewal.

Here are scenes from two recent trips within one hour of our offices.

Donnell Pond as seen from lookout on Schoodic Mountain. Our campsite was on the sandy beach visible on the right side of the photo.

Sunkhaze Meadows from the canoe. Does anything else need to be said about this scene?
