Political Goss follow-up
Back in August I posted on the blatantly political nomination of Porter Goss to head the CIA.
During hearings in mid-September, the CIA nominee and Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Pat Roberts, Republican from Kansas, put on an impressive show where Goss “made a commitment to nonpartisanship”.
If anyone did during the dog-and-pony-show hearings, they can now stop believing Goss will conduct the affairs of the CIA in a “nonpartisan” manner.
I’ve been meaning to post on this for a couple of days now, but the oil stuff has been too compelling. Good thing that cs over at not watching television has put up the fine post that I would have hoped to have written. Please read all about political Goss there.

It’s fun. I’ve been getting into trackbacks since Past Peak gave me one a few weeks ago on the flag pictures/troops home alive post. I had to learn how they work! Now I really like ‘em.
