		<description>I'm glad to see that Friday garden blogging has returned. Just because the weather hasn't been all that great for much of the country is no reason not to celebrate the natural beauty that surrounds us. 

Good luck with those tomatoes and garlic... plant some cilantro and you'll have the makings for some terrific salsa!</description>

A friend of mine heard on the Swedsih news yesterday that Sweden actually has military bases in Uzbekistan.  In additon, Sweden has close trade relations with Uzbekistan laced, of course, with the usual "concerns" for human rights issues. I will try to scribble something on this if you're interested. The plot appears to be thickening.</description>
