Sweet 100 cherry tomatoes added this week
Note that the volunteer broccoli seen in the picture is taking hold. The snap peas in the center of the photo are finally beginning to race. In the background, note the strength of the garlic bed.
Tonight I will actually have to put out the sprinkler after two very dry days (dewpoint 7°C, low 40s F). Tomorrow is supposed to be beastly hot, with 35°C (90s F) possible.

Ok, that’s it. Beastly hot here, too. Flowers, no vegetables. But I am stopping procrastinating and going out and bang together a raised bed that I have been thinking about for at least a month.

Hi David. Wow, the humidity and heat did come in with a vengeance. We had 96F yesterday, it backed off a little today, but the dewpoint has zoomed up into the 60s. My brother and sister-in-law came out and we went to Mount Desert Island today. Nice day…

It’s been nice here in Sweden too. The polar bears are hibernating and it’s safe to tend to one’s garden again.
