I was actually a little surprised to by their insistence on sourcing. I mean, yes, absolutely. However, I got the impression that their sources were somehow sacrasanct, hmm. The kind of laisser-faire democracy position where any democracy as long as it is democracy disturbed me too. Interesting stuff though. I am actually impressed by some of the commentary; it is well constructed, cogent. However, the arrogance is a little overbearing at times and when Bernard Lewis was mentioned, well, I had to leave. Quoting Orientalists as experts in the field is a little too much for an old Edward Said fan to muster. That is not o say that Lewsi does not know his stuff, he certainly does. However, he is highly dishonest and certainly follows a specific Right_Wing/orientalist hermeneutic which I find reprehensible. Hi Eric,
