Major changes coming…

Note to readers: Deep Blade Journal will be undergoing a major re-vamping over the next few weeks. Do not be surprised if the site goes down for a period of time, or serves you oddball or alternate pages. The process we will be going through includes a move from Blogger to WordPress, along with the addition of excellent new authors! This will be exciting! Stay tuned…

If you need any help in the revamp & conversion process, feel free. I’ve recently been experimenting with some Ajax/Web2.0 stuff lately; may be some nice features to add/integrate.

    Examples:
    script.aculo.us
    moo.fx
    rico

I also recently stumbled upon this list of sustainably powered web hosting companies; but I’m sure there are many more out there.

    Good luck with the “re-vamping”.

    Hey Eric,

I never got a reply to my reply to your email re: this community project. Perhaps I was sent to your spam filter? I’ve had that problem recently because of Pitt’s email. Anyway, I’d love to be involved in this. I have a new site up, Violent History (which accidentally went public two weeks before it was ready because of a prominent historian finding and advertising it) and I’d be interested both in cross-posting my relevant content and/or doing original work for whatever you create here.

I also want to make sure you don’t think you’re slighted by being listed as a “friend” and not a “link” on my new pages (whose sidebar is in pre-alpha format, somewhere around version 0.2). The headers are gifs not text so I used “links” for history sites, “blogs” for history blogs, and “friends” for the one non-history site I wanted to link to ASAP–yours.

Okay, I don’t mean to spam your comments, but it was relevant to this post and I was worried my emails weren’t reaching you.

    Friends,
    Isaac

I did get it Isaac, just slow. I’ll dig it up and give you a proper response.
